These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of private.money (the "Site"), operated by Private.Money ("we", "us"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
1. Educational purpose only
All content, calculators, rate ranges and examples are for general information and education. They are not financial, investment, legal, tax or accounting advice, not a recommendation to enter any transaction, and not a quote. Consult qualified, licensed professionals before acting.
2. Not a lender, broker or adviser
Private.Money does not make loans, arrange or negotiate loan terms, make credit decisions, hold funds, or offer, sell or recommend securities. Submitting a request is not a loan application and does not guarantee any offer, approval, rate or term. Any agreement you make with a lender, broker, fund or other third party is solely between you and that party.
3. Lender matching
By submitting a loan match request and checking the consent box, you authorize us to share your submission with lenders and brokers that may fit your request, and you agree they may contact you. You confirm the information is accurate and that the request is for a business-purpose loan on investment property. We do not endorse, guarantee or vet every third party and are not responsible for their acts, offers, fees or omissions. Always conduct your own due diligence.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract to use the Site's forms.
5. User submissions
You are responsible for what you submit. Don't submit unlawful, infringing, false or confidential third-party information. For contest entries, guide suggestions, testimonials and similar submissions, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce and publish them, with credit where appropriate.
6. Acceptable use
Do not scrape, overload, reverse-engineer or interfere with the Site; submit spam or automated requests; impersonate others; or use the Site for unlawful purposes.
7. Intellectual property
Site content, design, text, graphics, calculators and code are owned by or licensed to Private.Money and protected by copyright and other laws. You may share links and quote brief excerpts with attribution. Any other reproduction requires our written permission. Third-party trademarks, videos and content belong to their respective owners.
8. Third-party links and ads
The Site contains links, embedded videos and advertisements from third parties, including Google AdSense. We are not responsible for third-party content, products or practices. Advertisements are not endorsements.
9. Contributions and pledges
Voluntary contributions support an independent, for-profit publication. They are not charitable donations, not tax-deductible, and do not purchase any security, ownership interest or guaranteed benefit. Contributions are non-refundable once processed, except where required by law.
10. Contests
Contests are governed by their posted Official Rules, which control in the event of conflict with these Terms.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SITE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. Rates and market data change frequently and may be out of date.
12. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PRIVATE.MONEY AND ITS OWNERS, CONTRIBUTORS AND PARTNERS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, CAPITAL OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR ANY THIRD-PARTY TRANSACTION. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED USD $100.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Site, your submissions or your violation of these Terms.
14. Changes and termination
We may modify the Site or these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes means you accept them. We may suspend access for violations.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at the operator's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where consumer protection law of your residence requires otherwise.
